Acts of Kindness Weekend

September 11-12 2010

The Syracuse Parks Conservancy will be participating in the upcoming Acts of Kindness Weekend.

One of the Hub sites is Sunnycrest Park.

Facilitated by the interfaith group Women Transcending Boundaries (WTB), and with initial funding from the Central New York Community Foundation, this exciting weekend invites participants of every age and from all sectors; faith-based, civic, educational and business to join in projects happening all over the greater Syracuse area.

Growing Together Tree Project

The SPC is leading an ongoing initiative to further beautify our parks and green spaces by planting trees in places where there they are lacking, and by filling spaces left by old or dead trees that have been taken down.

We are in need of people to donate funds to purchase trees, and also to volunteer in our planting efforts. Please help us make Syracuse a greener and cleaner place to live.
