Acts of Kindness Weekend

September 11-12 2010

The Syracuse Parks Conservancy will be participating in the upcoming Acts of Kindness Weekend.

One of the Hub sites is Sunnycrest Park.

Facilitated by the interfaith group Women Transcending Boundaries (WTB), and with initial funding from the Central New York Community Foundation, this exciting weekend invites participants of every age and from all sectors; faith-based, civic, educational and business to join in projects happening all over the greater Syracuse area.

The Central Park Conservancy Agreement is currently being reviewed by the SPC. It is the goal for where we want the SPC to be eventually. The SPC is connecting with the SU Community Law Clinic for review of the agreement and subsequent drafting of the SPC Agreement.

The SPC has finished it’s Case Statement, which covers such items as the Mission Statement, Background of the Convervancy, and case information regarding associations, restoration, etc.
